Head coach of the Salvadoran National Team, Rudis Gallo, in an interview with El Grafico magazine, said that the number of planned friendliness is motivated by the desire to gain practice for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2021 qualifying tournament.
“Our biggest goal is to qualify for the World Cup. And the upcoming friendly games should help us to prepare for the qualification. The team’s newcomers work with great dedication and enthusiasm, and games against Costa Rica will give everyone time to prove themselves”, — Gallo said.
El Salvador will have two friendly games against Costa Rica. Matches are scheduled for 15 and 16 February and will take place in La Paz, Bolivia.
