Marmor: Estonia will surely come to the World Cup in Moscow - even as spectators

16.07.2019

Estonia's head coach Christian Marmor explained what he expects from his team's  performance at the World Cup qualifying tournament, which will be held in Moscow from July 19 to July 27.

“Estonian team is ready to play against the best national teams of Europe here in Moscow. It will be a tough competition for us, but we want to be in playoffs.

It will be great to play at Luzhniki stadium, because it is one of the most famous stadiums in Russia. We know it was built for 1980 Olympics and rebuilt for the 2018 World Cup. Our players understand that the atmosphere is going to be special at the matches.

Talking about Russia's wish to host World Cup-2021, we think it's going to be great. If we can't make it there as athletes, we’ll definitely come to Moscow as spectators, because it's very convenient for us to get to Moscow from Estonia,” – Marmor told BSRussia.com
