Yury Krasheninnikov opened the scoring at the first minute to the game. The Russians scored two more goals in the first period. The home team was leading 6:0 by the 20th minute of the final. Gabriele Gori got one goal back, but Fedor Zemskov set up the final score on the board at Luzhniki stadium in Moscow - 7:1.
