Last weekend, The Costa Rica national beach soccer team won the men’s division, the Copa INDES de la Amistad, while Barra de Santiago took the women’s title. The event was organised in Barra de Santiago, El Salvador, by the Instituto Nacional de los Deportes de El Salvador (INDES). It was reported by the Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) official website.
In the final, Costa Ricans beat Barra de Santiago with a final score of 5-4. Greivin Pacheco became the top scorer of the competition.
In the fight for third place, the Guatemala national team managed to earn their first win in the competition and upset Garita Palmera with a score of 9-6. Miguel González recorded a Het-Trick on his own account.
Barra de Santiago's Women's side claimed the trophy in the women's division of the Copa INDES de la Amistad after going undefeated throughout the competition
