German national team's captain Sasha Vairauh shared his expectations prior to the World Cup qualifying tournament, which will be held in Moscow from July 19 to July 27. The Germans will play in Group A with the teams from Estonia, Russia and Hungary.
“I expect a well-organized tournament with a great atmosphere. I have no doubt that everything will be at the top level. All the teams will bring o Moscow their best players at their best shape. In my opinion, this qualifying tournament seems to be even more difficult than the World Cup itsel, because you will need to beat the best teams in the world to go to Paraguay.
The German national team's main goal is to reach the second group stage and do our best to get to the World Cup.
Talking about Russia's wish to host the World Cup in 2021, I would like to mention to say that Russia is capable of organizing the best tournament in the history of beach soccer. I'm sure that the conditions will be perfect both for the players and the fans" - Vairauch told BSRussia.com
